As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of ICBS, we are pleased to announce that the 10th annual conference of the International Chemical Biology Society, ICBS 2021, will take place this November 11th-13th. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, ICBS has made the decision to present this important event virtually. We are delighted that ICBS 2021 will be supported by the Biological Discovery through Chemical Innovation (BDCI) initiative at Emory University as our virtual host.

ICBS 2021 will center on the theme of “looking towards the next decade of chemical biology” and will both reflect on the accomplishments of the last decade, as well as look towards new technologies and discoveries that will shape the field in the decades ahead.

This year’s scientific program will showcase the impact of collaborations and partnership to advance chemical biology and promote the career development of young chemical biologists. While keynote lectures will feature thought leaders to share their perspectives, scientific sessions and poster presentations will reflect the focus of the society on promoting partnership and trainee education. Additionally, an opening day trainee forum with presentations by students and postdocs will take place on Thursday, November 10th.

We will build this conference on the great success of the ICBS2020 virtual which attracted more than one thousand active participants. Further information, including a call for session proposals and registration information, is forthcoming.
