ICBS Travel Award for Trainees
 
Background

• To encourage outstanding trainees to join and present their research at ICBS2019 in Hyderabad, ICBS2019 makes available 5 travel awards for PhD students and post-doctoral fellows with a preference for candidates requiring international travel.
• A minimum of 5 Travel Awards will be made. The Travel Award can be used to defray part of the travel expenses or other costs associated with attending ICBS2019, such as registration and accommodation.
• The travel awards are for US$500 and will be awarded at the conference
• A subcommittee of ICBS2019 will review the applications.

Eligibility

• Current PhD students or Post-doctoral fellows in chemical biology or a related field

• ICBS member (free membership)

• First author in an accepted poster, or a selected podium presenter

Application

• Required application materials: (i) applicant CV, (ii) presentation details (abstract), and (iii) candidate's supervisor information (title, affiliation, and research interest) and supervisor’s letter of support

• All the application materials should be submitted to ICBS2019 in one pdf file (when possible) by email with the subject line of “ICBS Travel Award application” to: icbs2019@csiriict.in

Application deadline: September 10, 2019
Awardees will be announced before September 20, 2019
