Dr. Ghosh worked as Scientist at BIOCON and subsequently, he moved to IIT Kanpur for his doctoral studies in the area of peptide self-assembly. He joined as postdoctoral fellow in Thomas Surrey’s group at European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Heidelberg, Germany, where he worked on organization of microtubule and molecular motor proteins. He joined Department of Organic and Medicinal Chemistry, CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology Kolkata, in 2011, where he currently holds position as Principal Scientist. He is a recipient of BASF and DBT Wellcome Trust Travel grant award, BIOCON Tribute award, EMBL Postdoctoral Fellowship, Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship, Ramanujan Fellowship, Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), UK and Young Scientist award from Indian Peptide Society. Currently, he worked as Associate Editor (Chemical Biology) of RSC Advances. His group is working in the area of Chemical Neuroscience (Neurogenesis and Neuroprotection) and Chemical Modulator for Microtubule Function, ROS & Stem Cells.
