ICBS2012 was held in Cambridge (Boston), MA, USA, October 4-5, 2012. The first official conference of the ICBS, organizers aimed to facilitate multi-national research collaborations that would serve to celebrate the scientific accomplishments of ICBS members through presentations of cutting edge research.

aDREAM, a satellite conference sponsored by the NCATS/NIH, was held in the same location on Oct. 3, 2012, and was a complimentary event to attendees of ICBS2012.
